Latest News” South of England Pigeon Show Epsom”. (SEPSE)

“THEY’RE OFF”

The heading could apply to your hat if you were at Blackpool Show last weekend, the wind was so strong, but it doesn’t refers to “The South of England Pigeon Show Epsom” to be held on Saturday November 3rd.

Everything is now ongoing for the Show to proceed and judging by the feedback and e-mails received from business and fanciers all are in agreement that Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey will be a perfect venue. Talking to some of the exhibitors at Blackpool it was encouraging that they showed so much interest and agreed a show is needed in the south of the country.

We have done “the sums” and finalized prices for the trade stands, so if you are interested or know of anyone who might be, please email me or phone 07955436644, or John 07778783301 and Tom on 07743292761. Before I go I would like to say thanks to all those who took the time to say hello and have a chat at Blackpool; also to Gerry Reynolds for being the first to book a stand at Epsom. Gerry will be building a fantastic loft to take to the show. Thanks also to Mark Evans of Black Country Grains and Heart of England Auctions for their support. Not forgetting Henk de Brueijs in Holland, he put news of the Show on his website and already it has attracted over 1,500 hits. Last bit not least thanks to The RP for producing a great advert in the Blackpool issue.
